Job Title: Lead Field Support

Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable and customer-focused Lead FSO (Field Support Officer) to provide comprehensive hardware and software support to employees and new hires. This role is responsible for imaging systems, troubleshooting across Windows and Mac platforms, asset management, and executive-level support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- 3 5 years of IT support experience, including technical training
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS platforms, including laptops and desktops
- Experience with Windows 10 imaging, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with networked printers, VDI troubleshooting, and mobile device support
- Certifications such as MCP and/or A+ preferred
- Valid driver s license and access to a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience
- Proven experience in hardware refresh, warranty repair coordination, and asset tagging
- Hands-on experience with printer break-fix, data backup/recovery, and walk-up support
- Strong background in inventory management, spare parts tracking, and depot operations
- Experience supporting executive (VIP) users and conducting AV health checks
- Ability to coordinate with external vendors for dispatch and repair services
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Image and install software on Windows and Apple devices, including IMAC and remote support
- Troubleshoot post-deployment issues across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, mobile)
- Manage hardware lifecycle: disposal, redeployment, asset reclaim, and refresh
- Coordinate shipping, repairs, and warranty replacements with external suppliers
- Maintain accurate asset records and ensure proper tagging and tracking
- Provide weekly inventory reports and monitor hardware outflows
- Support onboarding of new hires and ensure timely hardware provisioning
- Deliver outstanding customer service and represent IT in cross-functional meetings
- Ensure all resolutions align with company standards and security policies
