Our client has an amazing opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer. We are looking for a forward-looking self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual must combine their collaborative and customer focused mindset with solid analytical and development skills to provide creative and complete solutions to complex business and technical problems.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $63 - $69 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve core applications in a Java, Spring, and Oracle environment using the agile methodology.
  • Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
  • Support and secure highly critical applications.
  • Work collaboratively with a customer-focused mindset to provide creative and complete solutions to complex business and technical problems.
  • Engage in hands-on development work, particularly in coding for Swift and Money Movement Projects.
  • Balance work between Java and Angular development, with a preference for a 50/50 skill split.
  • Demonstrate a data analysis mindset, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of development experience in Java, Spring MVC / Spring Core / Web Services (SOAP/REST), and configuring web containers.
  • Proven experience in software engineering, especially in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
  • Working experience in Test/Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD).
  • DevOps/CICD experience (Jenkins, uDeploy, GIT) is preferred.
  • Experience with IBM MQ and hands-on experience in Linux is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
  • Experience with money movement systems in a Mutual Fund/Banking Industry, including knowledge of policies and procedures around those functions.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in an Agile environment is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguous circumstances and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
  • Growth mentality with a passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Able to understand the technology and software architecture of an application.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • 6-9 years of experience is ideal.

Education Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
