Job Details

We are seeking a talented Kubernetes System Engineer to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom Kubernetes control plane components using Go. You will also design and implement plugins for the kube-scheduler and support dynamic hardware resource allocation for Kubernetes pods. Additionally, you will develop services that interact with the Kubernetes API.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop custom Kubernetes control plane elements in Go: kube-scheduler, kube-apiserver, kube-controller-manager, kubelet, kube-proxy
  • Develop plugins for kube-scheduler
  • Maintain custom systems for the dynamic allocation of hardware resources among Kubernetes pods
  • Develop services that interact with the Kubernetes API

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proven experience in developing or modifying Kubernetes control plane components
  • Proficiency in Go programming language
  • Solid understanding of container orchestration concepts and cloud-native technologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, distributed team environment
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

  • Ability to read and understand code written in Python and Rust
  • Experience working with Kubernetes clusters utilizing GPU resources
