BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Front End Software Engineer (Reactive Native) for Remote opportunity

Position Title: Software Engineer (React Native)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (REMOTE)

Anticipated Start Date: 6/25/2025

Expected Duration: 7+ months

Job Type: FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - REMOTE

Pay Range: $60/hr to $70/hr

Your work will:
* Deliver an adaptive learning system that evolves and improves care team performance over time.
* Seamlessly connect patients and providers with real-time, relevant insights via intuitive digital experiences - web and mobile.
* Drive innovation through modular, API-first development and mobile-first design that brings intelligent healthcare tools directly to the point of care.

What You'll Build:
* A next-generation knowledge platform for clinical decision support and content creation.
* Develop and maintain an iOS application using React Native
* Implement Restful API integrations and ensure smooth data flow
* Implement reusable components and ensure performance across iOS devices
* Write and maintain unit tests to ensure application reliability
* Troubleshoot and fix bugs and performance issues
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and Agile ceremonies
* A machine learning engine for intelligent specialty routing and scalable healthcare workflows.
* An API-driven and mobile-ready ecosystem empowering teams to reuse, combine, and scale capabilities across both desktop and mobile environments.

What You Bring:
* 5+ years of experience building distributed systems with n-tier architecture.
* Expert in at least one (mobile experience is required), and highly proficient in the rest:
o Mobile Development: React Native, iOS app development (Swift or Objective-C is a bonus)
o API development: Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET
o Frontend: React.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
o Operations Integration: Monitoring, reporting, and performance tools
* Experience deploying in cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
