Opportunity Overview

Team Overview:
Networks, Alliances, and High Net Worth (HNW) Solutions, a team in the Wealth Management - Products area, is responsible for the development and execution of the firm's Networks and Alliances strategy, roadmap and standards as well as the HNW Solutions strategy and roadmap. We build, grow and nurture the firm's strategic partnership ecosystem needed to deliver a comprehensive wealth management offering to meet multiple client segments' complex needs through both our HNW and branch channels. Our solutions in focus span many domains, including tax and estate services, business exit solutions, farmer/rancher solutions, real estate, other specialty HNW solutions, and more. As part of this team, you will have an opportunity to shape Edward Jones' partnership and HNW strategy, cultivate industry relationships, and collaborate with matrixed teams to deliver against our products and services roadmap.

What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with team members to support the design, development and management of competitive, innovative and high quality partnerships and solutions that align with firm advice and guidance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Gather data and insights and conduct analysis of moderate complexity that inform product strategy and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate solutions into the client and branch team experience.
  • Support the orchestration of partnerships and solutions, which includes ensuring roadmaps for training, positioning, marketing, product lifecycle, etc. are in place, high quality, and aligned to the business strategy.
  • Responsible for product or service partners, referral network members and/or matrixed team relationships of moderate size, complexity, number or impact in order to:
  • Manage and maintain the portfolio of products and services including influencing and helping prepare recommendations to firm governance committees to add / remove / change products, services or vendors as needed.
  • Help identify gaps and opportunities in products and services. Help shape, maintain and execute roadmap to address gaps in alignment with firm strategic direction.
  • Resolve moderately complex / broad products and services issues as escalated. Contribute to root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Interface with internal and external peer contacts (e.g. relationship managers, HNW Segment, WMAS, Branch Teams, Experience COE, Change & Enablement, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Digital).
  • Ensure that products and services literature and enablement resources are effective (quantity and quality), aligned with key firm messages and compliant. Assist in the design of efficient and effective ongoing processes and controls.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned partnerships and solutions for the firm. Includes foundational knowledge of product partner products features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with quantitative discipline preferred (e.g. business, finance, economics, accounting, etc.).
  • 3+ years of relevant financial services experience
  • Product management, product strategy/development, and or consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Series 7, 66 required within 12 months of hire.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Data driven problem solving and decision making
  • Plan, organize and prioritize across multiple bodies of work
  • Ability to navigate moderately complex business situations to drive towards action and results
  • Highly collaborative with solid written, verbal and presentation skills

What Could Set You Apart:
  • Experience working with or managing third-party vendors or product partners
  • Broad and some advanced knowledge of High Net Worth products and services
  • Experience in High Net Worth client wealth management
  • Progress toward advanced degree or relevant industry designation(s) preferred (e.g., MBA, CFP, CFA, ChFC,)
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with systems and tools such as MS Office

Current home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.

*Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
