Senior Software Engineer - WNEXUS (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Digital Design and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) team will complete the program vision for the WNEXUS Software Suite of Applications.

You will report to the Director of Design Automation/Configuration. You will work hybrid at the managers discretion requiring 2 days per week working on-site at Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product and development teams to understand and accomplish the program vision for the WNEXUS Software Suite of Applications
• Work with Westinghouse's internal application framework tool for engineering applications
• Support team maintenance and testing of existing applications
• Work with discipline engineers to develop functional requirements for execution
• Work with discipline engineers to develop scope, schedule and cost of new applications, or releases of existing applications

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of career-focused software development w/ Java and SQL/Database Design
• Must have Vault
• Web-programming w/ HTML, JavaScript, CSS, APIs
• Experience with REST APIs, MVC Architecture, and Bootstrap
• Object-oriented and event-driven programming or procedural programming paradigms
