Position Summary
Experienced Senior Pega RTIM Specialist with deep expertise in Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) and Real-Time Interaction Management (RTIM) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade, AI-driven customer engagement solutions. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution translating customer engagement goals into scalable, personalized, real-time decisioning frameworks that deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of RTIM solutions using Pega CDH.
- Architect Next Best Action (NBA) and Next Best Offer (NBO) strategies that align with business goals and customer journeys.
- Design decisioning logic including Engagement Policies, Arbitration, Propensity Models, and Channel Constraints.
- Develop omni-channel interaction frameworks ensuring consistent customer experience across web, mobile, contact center, and email channels.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure RTIM design aligns with overall system architecture and data flow models.
- Technical Development & Configuration
- Configure Decision Strategies, Decision Data Records (DDR), Predictive Models, and Adaptive Models within Pega CDH.
- Develop and optimize Pega data flows, customer profiles, and strategy results classes.
- Integrate RTIM solutions with enterprise systems (CRM, DMP, Campaign Management tools, REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, etc.).
- Work with analytics teams to incorporate AI/ML models into decision strategies.
- Business Consulting & Strategy Alignment
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify customer engagement objectives, key metrics, and strategic use cases.
- Translate business requirements into decisioning blueprints, ensuring traceability from objectives to outcomes.
- Conduct workshops and design thinking sessions with marketing, product, and analytics teams to define actionable strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing recommendations on personalization, real-time decisioning maturity, and Pega CDH best practices
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of total experience in IT, with at least 5+ years hands-on in Pega CDH / RTIM / Decisioning implementations.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale Pega RTIM or CDH projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in:
- Pega CDH components: Next Best Action Designer, Customer Profile Designer, Predictive Analytics Director.
- Decisioning elements: Engagement Policy, Arbitration, Prioritization, Proposition Management, Adaptive Models.
- Integration via REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, JMS, or Pega Connectors.
- Experience with real-time event-driven architecture.
- Deep understanding of customer engagement strategies, marketing automation, and personalization frameworks.
- Familiarity with data science concepts, predictive modeling, and AI/ML integration.
- Strong grasp of agile delivery methodology, DevOps practices, and CI/CD for Pega deployments.
