Title: Enterprise Technology Analyst
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Sacramento, California (Hybrid On-site required every Tuesday)

Summary:
The organization is seeking an Enterprise Technology Analyst to provide operational and project support for the Customer and AMI Technologies team. The primary objective of this role is to handle enhancements, project assignments, and incident response activities to ensure continued progress while the core team focuses on an ongoing S/4HANA implementation.

Scope of Work:
The selected resource will support Customer and AMI Technologies by managing incident tickets, working on enhancement requests, and contributing to project tasks across the technology environment. The position helps ensure continuous service stability and workload relief during a major system implementation period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for ServiceNow incidents related to Customer and AMI Technologies.

  • Work on enhancement requests and project-related tasks aligned with subject matter expertise.

  • Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner to prevent operational disruptions.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity, knowledge sharing, and effective communication.

  • Support the progression of ongoing initiatives while enabling the core team to remain focused on the S/4HANA implementation.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Timely resolution of assigned incidents and enhancements.

  • Continued forward movement on active project work.

  • Reduction of workload pressure and improved operational continuity for the Customer and AMI Technologies team.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience designing and configuring complex SAP solutions within the last ten (10) years.

  • Minimum three (3) years of SAP ECC 6.0 experience with EHP7 or higher.

  • Minimum one (1) year of SAP CRM 7.0 experience with EHP3 or higher.

  • IS-U CR&B expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    Customer Service
    Device Management (including smart meters and/or Itron Networks UIQ stack)
    Rates and Pricing
    Billing and Invoicing
    Bill Print
    Workflows
    FI-CA

  • Experience working with master data components and the business partner lifecycle.

  • Minimum two (2) years performing hands-on functional, technical, and regression testing of complex solutions, including integrations.

  • Experience using ServiceNow, JIRA, or a similar defect and change tracking application.

  • Experience participating in business requirements and blueprinting sessions.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed specifications.

  • Experience collaborating with ABAP developers to produce or refine functional specifications.

  • Experience creating process flow diagrams.

  • Ability to debug custom code and independently support project delivery.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience leading requirements sessions and solution blueprint reviews.

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

  • Experience designing and configuring complex IS-U rates, rate categories, and billing schemas.

  • Experience in electric utility technology environments, including any of the following systems:
    SAP S/4HANA
    SAP CX Solutions (Customer Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
    OpenText Document Presentment
    Itron Meter Data Management System (MDMS) IEE 10.3+
    MDISAIM EhP7+
