Job Description:
Intro:
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience managing multiple projects related to ERP applications. The Project Manager will be responsible for providing project planning and management across initiatives related to Consumer Products' Licensing ERP and other boundary applications.
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Partner with Product Management team to provide thorough project plans for Agile & Waterfall based projects that encompass application discovery, design, development & deploy timelines
Manage & enforce agreed upon timelines by keeping the team members focused on the necessary deliverables to ensure that they are delivered on time.
Leverage project management tools to provide visibility into overall and detailed project status
Prepare comprehensive progress reports for management team and key business stakeholders that share visibility into project status and risks
Collaborate closely with Product team members, Business Product Owners, and Management Team to set project goals and deliver features that align with strategic priorities and business specifications
Facilitate Project Status meetings with Project team to obtain high level and detail status updates
Manage actions, issues and risks by proactively mitigating any identified risks and assist in clearing blockers for the team
Document lessons learned, and lead continuous improvement efforts based on best practices and team/stakeholder feedback
Foster an environment of clear constructive communication and guard the team from external interference
Project Management Oversight - On-the-spot discretionary decision making related to project tasks, project management direction, timelines and priority
Project escalations - On-the-spot decisions regarding project risks & issues and required escalation communications
Estimation - Capable of gathering and providing functional and technical options of varying Level of Efforts (LOE)
Project costs - Gains advocacy for increases to cost as needed to support changing scope or implementation complexity
Project technical approach - Makes decisions to ensure technically accurate and appropriate solutions, enlists consensus from Technology VPs and Directors
