Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Capture and refine business and reporting requirements by working closely with stakeholders to identify problems and desired outcomes
  • Analyze stakeholder needs, document processes, procedures, and workflows associated with applications
  • Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows to connect with diverse data sources and automate data processing
  • Translate SQL Server views and stored procedures into efficient Alteryx workflows
  • Design intuitive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau and other BI tools to summarize key metrics
  • Present data findings through demos and reporting sessions, ensuring clarity and impact
  • Serve as a reporting proxy in meetings, preparing and presenting relevant data summaries
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and drive results
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance reporting processes
  • Create, maintain, and present training materials for end-users
  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail
  • Focus on transforming data into actionable insights through Alteryx workflows, SQL integration, and dashboard creation
  • Support cross-functional reporting needs and continuous improvement of reporting processes

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in reporting and tracking metrics
  • 1+ years in creating Alteryx workflows
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Alteryx, including connecting to banking data sources and processing data
  • Strong ability to convert SQL Server views and stored procedures into Alteryx workflows
  • Excellent visual design skills for creating dashboards and summary reports using graphs and indicators
  • Ability to effectively communicate reports and solutions to various stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical approach
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Report writing using Power BI

Desired skills:
  • Tableau reporting experience
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Data visualization and dashboard design (Tableau, BI tools)
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for project tracking

Pay range: $52.10 - $60.10
