Job Details
Responsibilities -
+ Lead and execute automation projects using PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/DeltaV platforms
+ Design control system architecture, develop electrical schematics and network diagrams
+ Program PLCs and DCSs using languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and SFC
+ Configure HMI/SCADA platforms and develop databases for historical data display
+ Manage and commission control systems on-site at client facilities
+ Direct and support project teams, managing timelines, budgets, and scope
+ Lead projects up to $10M, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction
+ Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians
+ Engage directly with clients to understand needs and propose solutions
Qualifications -
+ B.S. in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
+ 8 or more years of experience in control systems engineering
+ Proficient with Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon PLC/DCS platforms
+ Skilled in HMI/SCADA software: FactoryTalk, Aveva System Platform, Ignition, GE iFIX, WinCC, TI Portal
+ Familiar with industrial networking protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus
+ Experience designing control panels and power distribution under 480VAC
+ Familiar with NEC standards and AutoCAD
+ Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams
