Network Engineer - Midlevel-- Fulltime --(H1B/OPT Accepted)

Location: Dallas, TX (Initial Remote)

Duration: Long Term

Experience :3-5 years

We're searching for a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in designing, implementing, managing, and securing our critical network infrastructure. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge to troubleshoot complex network issues, optimize performance, and ensure our systems run smoothly to support our business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network architectures.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Implement and manage network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network issues.
  • Automate network tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, IT Operations, etc.) to ensure network alignment with business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging network technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and the OSI model.
  • Experience configuring and managing Cisco and/or other major network device vendors.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (a plus).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) (a plus).
