SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Solution Lead
Summary
The SAP SD Solution Lead will support the maintenance and advancement of the existing SAP SD solutions for Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing departments, providing day-to-day configuration and process support for Sales and Marketing solutions. This position will work closely with other IT analysts, architects, and business users to understand and document business requirements, which then must be translated into technical requirements that can be used as a guide to develop SAP SD solutions.
Responsibilities

  • Provide SAP application design, configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment, and support for the current SAP ECC environment and the future S/4HANA environment.
  • Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations.
  • Implement newly improved SD, Customer Experience (CX), and cross-functional business processes based on business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end users on SAP SD functionalities, best practices, and business processes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP SD.
  • Experience with integration points between Finance & Controlling (FICO), Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Manufacturing and Consumer Products business processes in ECC 6.0 environment.
  • Experience designing custom solutions and interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • In-depth experience with SAP SD business processes, Order-to-Cash (OTC), Master Data, Pricing, Rebates, etc.
  • A confident, client-facing personality with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in project management, highlighting strong skills in planning, coordinating, and leading best practices.
  • Experience and desire to work in a transformative environment that requires travel, depending on location and project.
  • Experience working with master data and its role in enabling systems.
  • Experience with functional design and configuration of IT applications.
  • Experience with end-user support for SAP and non-SAP systems, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Hands-on ABAP debugging/development experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with SAP Trade Promotion Management.
  • Experience integrating SAP and related products including Vertex, Customer Cloud, Commerce, etc.
  • Familiarity with S4/HANA s architecture, features, and migration strategies with SD.
