Responsibilities
The engineer will work closely with product owners and should also be capable of taking the lead on engineering tasks when needed.Serve as primary responsible for design-related queries and issuesManage and coordinate process and product changesUtilize CATIA V5 for all design and engineering tasksApply engineering principles to develop automotive products that meet customer technical and functional specifications, as well as manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements.Conduct 3D modeling to evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed designsSupport and participate in the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of automotive prototypesDesign manufacturing processes and equipment specific to automotive product production.Manage product releases, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of new designs and updates
5+ years of hands-on experience in product engineering, specifically within the automotive industry, focusing on design, development, and implementation of automotive products.Extensive experience utilizing CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and design tasks, with a proven track record of managing complex design-related queries and issues.Experience with data management system: PLM - Product Lifecycle ManagementDemonstrated ability to manage and coordinate process and product changes effectively, ensuring timely and efficient product releases while adhering to customer specifications and manufacturing efficiency requirements.
