Regional Head of Sales (USA) – T&D Software Solutions

Role Overview
The Regional Head of Sales (USA) will lead software products, solutions, and services sales across the United States, driving revenue growth and building C-suite relationships with electric utilities, energy market participants, EPCs, and large energy users. This role requires a blend of enterprise sales leadership, consultative energy expertise, and strategic market development.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a US sales strategy to achieve year-on-year revenue targets for T&D and digital energy solutions.
Lead complex, high-value sales engagements with electric utilities and energy market customers, influencing senior executive stakeholders.
Act as a trusted energy advisor, supporting customers on grid modernization, automation, asset performance, cybersecurity, renewables, storage, EVs, and DER integration.
Own RFP/RFI and bid management for large utility projects, coordinating with cross-functional internal teams.
Build long-term executive relationships and position the organization as a strategic partner in energy transformation.
Drive market intelligence, thought leadership, and representation at industry events and conferences.
Ensure post-sales customer success, value realization, and growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Required Experience & Qualifications
25+ years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within the energy / utilities sector
15+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise sales teams
Proven success selling T&D, grid operations, asset performance, energy markets, and control room solutions
Strong track record of C-suite engagement and closing complex, multi-million-dollar deals
Deep understanding of power systems, automation, microgrids, renewables, and cybersecurity
Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
