Job Title: Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) Technical Specialist
Location: New York City, NY (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) Technical Specialist to support, enhance, and optimize our Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Oracle Cloud, hands-on experience configuring compensation plans, and expertise in integrating OIC with other Oracle modules. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to partner with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Implementation & Support
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain Oracle Incentive Compensation modules.
- Develop technical solutions including Fast Formulas, OTBI reports, BI Publisher reports, and data models.
- Build and maintain interfaces between OIC and Oracle HCM/ERP Cloud modules.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
Compensation Plan Configuration
- Configure compensation plans, credit rules, rate tables, performance measures, and payout rules.
- Set up calculation processes, validation rules, and workflows to support business requirements.
- Test monthly/quarterly incentive payout cycles to ensure accuracy.
Integrations & Data Management
- Build and support inbound/outbound integrations (HCM, ERP, Payroll).
- Manage data conversions, bulk uploads, and data cleansing activities.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within the OIC system.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to business users.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training.
System Enhancements & Upgrades
- Stay up to date with Oracle quarterly updates and ensure smooth adoption.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system optimization.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and technical changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) / Oracle Fusion OIC.
- Strong expertise in:
- Fast Formulas
- BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL
- HCM Extracts
- Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Experience with incentive payout workflows, rate tables, credit rules, and calculations.
- Solid understanding of HCM/ERP Cloud modules (Payroll, Finance, Workforce Compensation).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud certification in Incentive Compensation or HCM.
- Experience with Sales Performance Management (SPM) tools.
- Prior experience working in large enterprise environments.
