Now Hiring: Network Technician Location: Beaver Dam, WI
Pay: Prevailing Wage + Potential Per Diem
Schedule: Full-Time
Project Duration: 24 36 Months

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Network Technicians to support a major telecom infrastructure project inside commercial and industrial buildings. This is a long-term opportunity offering prevailing wage compensation, consistent hours, and exposure to high-impact network deployments.


Project Overview:
This project involves the installation and configuration of inside plant (ISP) network hardware and structured cabling. Work will include mounting equipment, patch cabling, and completing rack builds across multi-building facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure network switches, routers, patch panels, and out-of-band (OOB) devices

  • Run and organize Cat6 and fiber patch cables with clean, structured management

  • Mount, label, and maintain network racks and equipment layouts

  • Interpret and follow detailed wiring maps, rack elevations, and network prints

  • Collaborate with ISP/OSP teams to ensure seamless system integration


Qualifications:

  • 1 3 years of experience in structured cabling or network hardware installation

  • Familiarity with Cat6/Fiber patching, cable management, and basic testing tools

  • Ability to read network diagrams and rack layouts

  • Basic knowledge of IP addressing and device setup preferred

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and troubleshooting skills

  • OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
