Job Details

Role: Audio-Visual Infrastructure/Systems Technician (W2)
Location: New York, NY (Onsite - 100%)
Long Term
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients, and colleagues in a professional and timely manner
Interpret schematics, blueprints, and SOWs to guide AV system installations.
Program and test AV systems including AMX/Crestron control systems and DSP configurations.
Configure IP-enabled AV devices and integrate them into enterprise networks.
Fine-tune and optimize AV performance, including calibration and user acceptance testing.
Provide real-time, white-glove AV and IT support to end users, including C-level executives.
Maintain technology infrastructure and assets to ensure ongoing performance and readiness.
Troubleshoot and repair AV and IT systems, both remotely and on-site.
Track and close project punch lists and provide client training/documentation.
Manage system configurations, software updates, and IT asset lifecycles.
Maintain systems uptime and proactively monitor and improve performance.
Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Support collaboration platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco Telepresence, etc.).

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:
Advanced knowledge of AV signal flow, control systems (AMX/Crestron), DSPs, and IP networking
Well versed in Dante (digital audio network through ethernet), Cameras, Video Switching , Audio or AoIP.
Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control
Minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) changes and troubleshooting
Strong technical troubleshooting ability across AV/IT domains
Advanced proficiency in Windows and iOS environments
Experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
Proficiency with testing and calibration equipment
Support user acceptance testing
Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 15 feet; lifting equipment, tools, and materials.
Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, colleagues, and C-level personnel
Education:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
AVIXA CTS certification strongly preferred
