Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Manager Quality Assurance & Product Specifications to oversee quality standards across our North American mining and downstream operations. This role ensures alignment between customer product specifications and operational capabilities. You’ll be the key link between sales, operations, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and support ISO certification.

Where You Will Work
This hybrid position is based in Phoenix, AZ. Employees engage in both remote collaboration and in-person meetings at the Collaboration Hub or site locations. The Hub features open workspaces, a working café, and advanced meeting tools to foster connection and productivity. In-person attendance will depend on departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and integrate customer product specifications with operational capabilities.
  • Align feed quality from mines to market requirements.
  • Maintain quality assurance, ISO certification, and lab excellence across operations.
  • Develop and track quality metrics; analyze gaps between capabilities and customer needs.
  • Perform data analysis and manage nonstandard specification review processes.
  • Resolve quality issues across plant production and customer feedback loops
  • Guide lab management and analysts on best practices for testing and reporting.
  • Support site ISO certification and maintain compliance with quality standards.
  • Oversee department budgeting and capital project planning.
  • Provide strategic input for infrastructure and operational improvements.
Required Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Mining/Geology Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10 years of operations/quality experience
  • Supervisory/management experience in quality analysis and project execution
  • Deep knowledge of molybdenum chemistry, mineralogy, and processing
  • Strong leadership and influence over technical teams
  • Proficient with statistical analysis and quality systems (e.g., ISO)
  • Solid MS Office and statistical software skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Domestic travel required several times per year
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with QA/QC in mining or mineral processing industries
  • Advanced knowledge of customer interface and specification negotiation

  • Salary Range from $100,000-$120,000/Per year (Depending on experience)
