We have an opening for a Sr. Ansible & Terraform SME in Dallas, TX. Start date is ASAP and will last 2+ months (extensions very likely)
Can be 100% remote
Rate: 76-90/hr
Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT):
- Cloud Automation Engineer (Ansible SME)
- 3+ years of experience in AWS with hands-on contribution in DevOps engineering.
- Strong experience creating Ansible playbooks and roles to automate the deployment and configuration of tools and applications within the AWS environment
- Strong experience with Ansible Tower and AAP (Ansible Automation Platform)
- Experience Developing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate configuration management, software provisioning, and system maintenance tasks.
- Experience Orchestrating complex workflows and integrate Ansible with AWS services to automate repetitive tasks.
Responsibilities:
Strong experience creating Ansible playbooks and roles to automate the deployment and configuration of tools and applications within the AWS environment
• Strong experience with Ansible Tower and AAP (Ansible Automation Platform)
• Experience Developing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate configuration management, software provisioning, and system maintenance tasks.
• Experience Orchestrating complex workflows and integrate Ansible with AWS services to automate repetitive tasks.
• Strong Experience in Terraform IaC deployments
• Strong Experience in building CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins) and deployment automation.
• Senior Terraform and Ansible Scripting
• Understands Centralized Logging Network Traffic, Routing, Security Groups, how to solve different routing issues, DNS
• Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments (Design and implementation experience and Cloud Networking).
• Strong experience on AWS Infrastructure services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, vpc, vpn, tgw, cloudwatch, cloudtrail, eventbridge, etc.
• Large scale implementation and migration experience of Data Center to Cloud Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (Shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell)
• Good practical Linux / Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
• Experience working on FedRamp compliant projects is a plus.
