Position: Data/Business Analyst w/ SQL

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina | 3 days/week on-site | 2 days/week remote

Duration: 12-24 month contract with potential for FTE conversion

Type: W2 contract, paid hourly. No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted. Only direct W-2 candidates will be considered.

Pay Rate Range: W2 $65-68/hr

Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled Data Analysts / Business Analysts with strong SQL capabilities to support Corporate Treasury and Liquidity Risk functions. These roles involve working on high visibility regulatory reporting, balance sheet analysis, and data quality initiatives across multiple banking products. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data analysis, business requirements gathering, and a solid understanding of banking products and liquidity risk concepts.

Job Description:
  • Perform data analysis to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality across multiple data sources
  • Develop and maintain data lineage, mapping, and source-to-target documentation
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues, identifying gaps and inconsistencies
  • Write and execute advanced SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data independently
  • Collaborate with Corporate Treasury teams on regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FR 2052a, ILST, LCR, NSFR)
  • Support balance sheet analysis, including forecasting and liquidity risk metrics
  • Gather and document business and data requirements for reporting and analytic
  • Work closely with multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) and stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Provide insights on banking products, including consumer loans, commercial loans, deposits, derivatives, and credit cards


Requirements:
  • 7+ years as a DA/BA with a banking background
  • Experienced writing advanced SQL queries
  • Experience in data quality, lineage, mapping, and governance
  • Good understanding of banking products such as consumer loans (mandatory), plus commercial loans, deposits, derivatives
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting (FR 2052a strongly preferred)
