RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Technical Analyst to join their team onsite in Mountain View California (CA).
Summary:
The Data Analytics & Science team drives user growth and retention using product insights and marketing channel optimization for the Small Business Group. We are an exciting, growing, and fun team that works with industry-leading analytics tools, techniques, and best practices. Marketing Growth Analytics group is looking to expand its capabilities in the data engineering, machine learning, and data analytics realm to work closely with analysts, engineers, and marketers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and launch new data science capabilities which fit complicated use cases across business unit to get adopted by various end users including analysts, marketer, pm and engineers
* Partner closely with engineering, gather data needs from internal customers like product marketers and analysts and translate those requirements into a working database and analytic tools
* Be the go-to person for anything and everything regarding understanding the data, sources and origins, ETLs, etc.
* Participate in design and code reviews to make sure scripts run as efficiently as possible
* Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent experience; Master's preferred
* Extensive experience dealing directly with internal customers regarding their data needs
* Excellent knowledge of SQL, large scale data warehouse
* Excellent knowledge of database/dimensional modeling/data integration tools
* Excellent understanding of statistics and experiment design
* Experience writing scripts with languages like Python and shell scripts in a Linux environment
* Can-do attitude, hands-on approach, passionate about data
* Experience working with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and data tools in AWS
* Knowledge of Data Science/Machine Learning is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
