We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our manufacturing processes and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment and is keen on driving meaningful improvements in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Design, develop and test and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
- Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
- Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of machinery and equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
- Design and prepare concept drawings of new equipment.
- Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
- Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
- Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with Tool Design, CNC, Fixtures, Jigs, Large Assembly, and Weld.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
