Job Description

Our customer is currently looking to add an SAP BW Developer to their Data Engineering Team to backfill a team member that recently left the organization. They are in the middle of several major upgrades within their SAP environment. They are currently on SAP BW/4hana, will be implementing SAP Analytics Cloud later this year, and have recently started leveraging CDS Views. Initially, this person will be mostly focused on working on enhancements coming from business users, working with the BAs to understand the requests, scope, and determine if they're feasible or make sense to work on. They'll be checking in on overnight issues that the offshore team could not take care of and will fix those issues. The currently have a consultant in place that is doing a lot of the heavy lifting within their modernization efforts, and the goal would be for this person to eventually grow into that role since that consultant has plans to retire in the near future but the exact date of that is uncertain. All of the work that they will be doing will be done using ABAP, BW/4hana, and CDS Views. They will also be using Hana Studio for development as well as Cherwell for ticketing until they move onto Jira later this year.

Conversion salary for this role is $115K-$130K.
