Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Design, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions using ForgeRock products, including Identity Gateway (IG).
- Configure and customize ForgeRock components such as ForgeRock Access Management, Identity Management, Directory services, and Identity Gateway to meet organizational requirements.
- Develop and maintain authentication and authorization policies, and manage secure access to applications through IG.
- Develop scripts using Python and JavaScript (JC) to automate routine tasks and processes.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience in containerization and deployment of ForgeRock components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing applications and systems.
- Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM and AWS-related issues.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Shell scripts, Perl, and Java Scripting
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS/Google cloud Platform/Microsoft Azure.
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC to build and manage cloud environments.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and performance optimization.
