Job Summary:

We re looking for a Senior Java Back-End Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team in California. You ll be working on large, enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. Experience in banking or healthcare is a big plus.

What You ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain secure, high-performance server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.

  • Work closely with front-end developers, QA, and business teams.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for smooth deployments.

  • Improve application speed, reliability, and scalability.

  • Follow best practices for clean, secure code especially for healthcare and banking standards.

  • Review code, share feedback, and help mentor junior developers.

  • Help troubleshoot and support critical applications in production.

What We re Looking For:

  • 8 10 years of Java back-end development experience.

  • Strong skills in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Hibernate.

  • Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and API gateways.

  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

  • Strong understanding of security and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS).

  • Skilled in Git and version control.

  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.

  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka.

  • Experience with third-party API integrations in banking or healthcare.

  • Understanding of data privacy rules and encryption.

Education:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
