Candidate must have:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Assist in the design and optimization of complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
Support ETL workflows using tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica, or custom PL/SQL scripts.
Participate in data migration, cleansing, and validation activities across different systems.
Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues in Oracle queries and code.
Work with business analysts, QA teams, and senior developers to meet data and reporting requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation related to database objects and ETL jobs.
Ensure adherence to data governance and security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
Good understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and normalization.
Basic knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., ODI, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus.
Proficient in writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries.
Experience working with large datasets and understanding of performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to Oracle 12c/19c or later versions.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Understanding of data quality and data integration challenges.
