Role: Product Owner
Rate: $65/hour W2
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Hybrid | EST Business Hours


A dedicated member of the Scrum Team who represents the users and the business, ensuring that deliverables align with requirements by demonstrating working software at the end of each sprint cycle. Collaborates with other Product Owners, Product Managers, Operations Leadership, and Agile team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with business, technology, and architecture stakeholders to bring the business and architectural vision to life, delivering features in a lean, iterative, and nimble way
  • Drive the story elaboration process, ensuring at least two sprints' worth of ready user stories
  • Define Acceptance Criteria for user stories
  • Prioritize the team backlog to best achieve goals and outcomes
  • Ensure the User Story backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders, reflecting the team’s upcoming work
  • Accept completed user stories on behalf of the customer, based on defined acceptance criteria
  • Ensure the team understands backlog items to the level required for development and delivery
  • Regularly attend and actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Daily Standups
    • Sprint Review
    • Sprint Retrospective
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from demos into the backlog for future iterations
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other Product Owners to define and coordinate cross-team feature development when necessary

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience functioning exclusively as a Product Owner (not in a hybrid role)
  • Strong experience writing and refining user stories for software development team
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar platforms
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification strongly preferred
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
