Performance Test Engineer

Location - Dallas, TX

Product: Payment Gateway Development & Maintenance using .NET Technology Stack

Overview:

We're looking for a Mid-Level Performance Test Engineer to join our QA team and help ensure our applications are fast, scalable, and reliable under real-world conditions.

Experience: 2-8 years of experience in performance testing or engineering

Technical Skills:

  • Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability test scenarios
  • Use tools like JMeter, VSTS, LoadRunner to simulate user activity and measure system behavior
  • Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and work with engineering teams to drive improvements
  • Monitor application performance using tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or New Relic
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Define performance benchmarks, KPIs, and success criteria for applications and APIs Provide clear and actionable reporting on performance test outcomes
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and system resource usage (CPU, memory, I/O, etc.)
  • Experience with monitoring and profiling tools in both local and cloud environments
  • Familiarity with containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
