Job Details
Description of the Role:
- Set up and maintain modules in SAP that deal with reinsurance (FS-RI) and financial collections/disbursements (FS-CD).
- Work with finance teams to make sure SAP processes reflect how the business works.
- Fix issues and provide support during critical finance periods like monthly financial close.
- Analyze data, find gaps, and improve how things run.
- Document everything, run tests, and help others (business or IT) understand the system.
Top/Must have skills:
- SAP FS/RI Configuration experience with reinsurance background need to include specifics about reinsurance background on resume (ex. Were they working on a reinsurance program?)
- Other relevant SAP modules (must also have FS/RI: FI/CO, FS-CD
- FS-RI Reinsurance module in SAP. Used by insurance companies to handle contracts with other insurers.
- FS-CD Collections & Disbursements. Handles payments in and out, similar to accounts receivable/payable.
