Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Technical Director/Chief Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supports program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts
- Investigates and resolves defects related to the developed software systems
- Oversees the quality of test activities during the release of products to production
- Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization
- Works with the Program Manager and customer on software architecture, AI/ML Systems and enterprise integration
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 10+ years of experience
- Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in the primary duties of the job family
- Advanced knowledge of general principles and practices of the functional area
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Advanced written and oral communications skills
- Ability to troubleshoot urgent production issues
- Proficient in developing software in one or more operating systems environment (Windows, Linux, etc)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Expertise with SAFe methodologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance and be eligible for a Polygraph
