Job Details

Network Architecture & Design
  • Design and maintain a secure, scalable, high-availability enterprise network using Cisco technologies.
  • Develop strategies for network segmentation, VLANs, and routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Architect connectivity for remote sites, mobile units, data centers, and public safety systems.
  • Lead modernization efforts like SD-WAN, wireless upgrades, and zero-trust network access.

Implementation, Operations & Support
  • Act as the lead engineer for network deployments, upgrades, and incident response.
  • Configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, WLCs, and wireless endpoints.
  • Oversee VPNs, QoS, ACLs, and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow, SNMP).
  • Serve as the top-tier escalation point for complex network issues and performance tuning.

Security, Compliance & Audit Readiness
  • Enforce network security aligned with CJIS, NIST, and internal policies.
  • Manage firewall rules, NAC (e.g., Cisco ISE), and endpoint access controls.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Prepare documentation and evidence for audits and compliance reviews.

Required Qualifications
8+ years experience in enterprise network architecture and engineering
Deep experience with Cisco environments:
Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR
ASA, Firepower/FTD
ISE, AnyConnect, VPNs
OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
Wireless: WLCs, Aironet, Meraki
Certifications:
Required: CCNP
Preferred: CCIE
Bonus: Cisco Security/Wireless Specialist, CISSP, Fortinet NSE, Aruba
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.
