Job Title: Site Installation Technician 1
Location: Lenexa, KS, USA
Duration: 8 Months contract-possible to extend
Pay rate - $23/h to $25/h
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (40 hrs/week)
Job Overview: We're seeking an entry-level Site Installation Technician to assist with the installation and commissioning of commercial security systems. You'll work closely with a mentor and Lead Technician to ensure systems are installed, tested, and maintained to meet operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with commissioning and testing of security systems
- Document progress and communicate issues
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute work
- Submit accurate time and expense logs
- Work overtime when required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- Electro-mechanical aptitude and basic PC/software skills
- Familiarity with network components and operating systems
- Ability to read design/construction documents
- Comfortable using hand tools, laptops, smartphones, tablets
- Able to lift/move up to 75 lbs unassisted
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license with limited violations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information:
- No travel required
- Work will be split between two local sites (approx. 25 mins apart)
- Potential for temp-to-perm conversion
- No pre-interview test required
- Computer and system access provided
