Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst with expertise in HP NonStop Tandem and Oracle GoldenGate.
he ideal candidate will provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot network and system issues, and ensure high availability of mission-critical applications. This role involves working with heterogeneous environments, including Unix, Linux, and Oracle, and requires strong problem-solving skills to handle complex technical incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for HP NonStop Tandem systems, including file systems, networking, and middleware components.
- Support and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate replication issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
- Configure network settings and resolve connectivity issues within HP NonStop environments.
- Monitor and analyze TCP/IP traces, wire chart traces (sniffer traces), and Tandem networking traces for problem diagnosis.
- Perform system monitoring using tools like Prognosis, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Assist in documenting SNA (System Network Architecture) diagrams to aid troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.
- Follow SOPs and escalation procedures to ensure compliance with SLA/OLA requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in supporting HP NonStop Tandem systems (file management, networking, and monitoring).
- Proficient in Oracle GoldenGate installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and trace analysis.
- Familiarity with Unix and Linux environments.
- Experience using Prognosis or other monitoring tools for system and network health checks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with proven incident resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HP NonStop certification or equivalent training (can be provided).
- Experience in banking, financial services, or mission-critical production support environments.
- Exposure to ITIL practices and experience with tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
