Position Summary:
Our partner, A U.S.-based mid-market bank with an international parent company is expanding its automation capabilities and looking for someone who blends process thinking with a builder s mindset. You'll collaborate with teams across a financial institution to simplify complex workflows, streamline data access, and deploy RPA and low-code solutions that actually move the needle. This isn t just about writing scripts. It s about working alongside business and tech stakeholders to identify the real bottlenecks in order to design scalable, compliant automations that free up time for high-value work. You ll have ownership, support, and a growing community of automation pros at your side. If you ve worked in SQL-heavy, regulated environments and know how to turn automation ideas into production-grade systems, there s plenty here to build on.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- + 3 years of experience building and deploying automation solutions in regulated environments (finance, banking, insurance, etc. a plus)
- Delivered RPA using tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere
- Worked with business teams to understand and document process flows
- +5 years of hands-on experience in SQL-based environments (SQL Server, Oracle, AS400)
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms
- Exposure to workflow automation tools such as Pega
- Comfortable in Agile/Scrum teams

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy RPA solutions for critical business workflows.
- Automate data-heavy processes using SQL and scripting.
- Work closely with business units to understand automation opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance existing automations across multiple platforms.
- Monitor daily automation jobs and proactively resolve issues.
- Build web-based reports and ad hoc tools to support internal teams.
- Document automation design, functional specs, and technical scope.
- Partner with compliance teams to meet risk, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Embed security protocols into all automation logic.
- Support system uptime and continuity across critical banking operations.
- Participate in code reviews, cross-training, and team knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical support during production incidents or after-hours releases.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for new automations.
- Keep automation best practices current with new tools and tech.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
