Job Details

Blu Omega is seeking a Senior UX Designer to be a part of the Information Technology Team and to lead in the creation of new products and features from the idea stage to launch.

The Senior UX Designer will handle the design of new and existing high-quality desktop, browser-based and native mobile applications across multiple projects. This role also contributes to the strategic decisions, balancing user needs with business goals to deliver impactful, user-friendly products.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate as a UX/UI designer on an Agile team with Product Owners, Business System Analysts and Engineering team to ensure the UX/UI specifications are built correctly and optimized for the customer
  • Define the product design philosophy and standards across the product portfolio
  • Design for both Web and Mobile software products
  • Identify the Customer needs for new initiatives and improve on existing features and experiences
  • Translate ideas into flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes with intuitive user experience
  • Teach Product Owners, Business System Analysts, Developers and Test Engineers core principles of UX and design thinking to scale influence
  • Analyze UX problems and create solutions that meet measurable business requirements and goals
  • Collaborate directly with business, product, and technology partners to find solutions that are desirable, viable, and feasible
  • Provide compelling rationale to align partners around solutions
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • 5+ years experience as a dedicated UX/UI Designer
  • Must have an online portfolio of work, including process flows, wireframes, and specifications for development and pattern/style guides
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills
  • Desire for innovation on behalf of the customer while being able to prioritize base on business objective
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
  • Strong team player with ability to multi-task, prioritize and be ready to wear multiple hats
  • Healthcare knowledge is a plus.
  • Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience, Graphic Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch
  • Proficiency with Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Salary Range:
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
