Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Analyst to support development enablement across a large-scale engineering organization. This role blends elements of Business Analysis, Product Ownership, and Technical Documentation, with a focus on capturing developer pain points, streamlining workflows, and translating business needs into actionable technical stories. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can partner with technical leads and teams to create clarity, structure, and documentation that improves developer efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with ~10 development leads supporting 100+ scrum teams to understand challenges, workflows, and requirements.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, translating problems into clear stories, requirements, and documentation.
• Document workflows, processes, and developer pain points in Confluence (wiki-style) and other collaboration tools.
• Create lightweight visuals/diagrams to clarify processes (not full architecture documents).
• Support Agile and DevOps practices by guiding teams through processes, clarifying workflows, and connecting dependencies.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement by identifying gaps, surfacing blockers, and providing structured documentation.
• Collaborate within an Atlassian ecosystem (Confluence, Trello, Jira, etc.), while not being exclusively tool-focused.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work across diverse technical teams.
• Proven ability to document workflows, connect the dots, and translate business needs into technical requirements/stories.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Comfort with asking baseline technical questions and guiding teams through processes.
• Ability to create clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred Background:

• Experience as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst in a software development environment.
• Background as a developer or engineer who transitioned into analysis/product ownership.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Trello).
