Position: Data Architect
Location: Edison, NJ
Fulltime
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science and information systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.)
- Strong knowledge in Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), such as Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.
- Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud/on-premise).
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Strong knowledge and skills in data automation technologies, such as Python, Cloud data pipelines, ETL/ELT, SQL, etc.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud storage.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Google Cloud Platform Cloud Composer or Airflow.
- Strong knowledge and skills in data management, data quality, and data governance.
- Proficiency with DevOps practices for data (CI/CD pipelines)
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Clarizen, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx and IBM DataStage is a plus.
- Experience in extracting and integrating data from SAP is a plus.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools.
- Familiarity with BI visualization tools such as Microstrategy, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
