About the role:

As a Technical Team Support Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the Global I&C engineering department, responsible for enabling technical team members to operate efficiently by providing hands-on support across documentation, coordination, and operational workflows. This role is ideal for someone with experience in agile environments, technical reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. While not an engineering role, it requires a strong understanding of technical tools, terminology, engineering processes and team dynamics.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Systems & Site Response Engineering and be located at the Warrendale, PA office on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain technical documents, specifications, and reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Develop visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and presentations using tools like Visio or PowerPoint.
  • Perform configuration management for drawings, documents, bills of material, test results, etc
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across engineering projects.
  • Support project estimation, planning, tracking and status meetings
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating program increments and technical reviews.
  • Maintain project dashboards and documentation repositories using tools like SharePoint.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and training sessions for new team members.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering and support departments (e.g., IT, Facilities, HR).
  • Manage technical workspace logistics, including lab access and equipment needs.
  • Identify and implement improvements to team workflows and documentation practices.
  • Support adoption of new tools and systems to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Communications, or related discipline).
  • 2+ years of experience supporting technical or engineering teams in a coordination, documentation, or operations role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Jira, etc).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand technical terminology and workflows without being an engineer.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $76,400 to $95,500 per year.
