Job Details

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior IT Specialist to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT systems, software development and network management. This role will support various tasks related to software development, web page maintenance, database management and network administration as part of our ongoing projects.

Position is 100% on-site

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, maintenance and upgrades of web pages and web applications.
  • Support the design, creation and maintenance of database and software systems.
  • Perform hardware/software upgrades and maintenance of data networks and servers.
  • Contribute to the Data Consolidation Project (DCP) by supporting applications such as Administration tools, Budget Management System (BMS), Portal and Work Management System (WMS).
  • Aid in the development of future DCP applications, including Laboratory Space Management, Laboratory Infrastructure/Power and migration of existing Facilities Automation Network (FAN) applications to DCP.
  • Support enhancements and maintenance of BMS to interface with the FAA s financial management system (Delphi).
  • Design, develop and post web pages; maintain and update web pages.
  • Configure web servers and create automated web scripts.
  • Develop and modify software coding and work with various database software.
  • Provide recommendations on web tools to automate and facilitate communication processes.
  • Ensure Section 508 compliance and document all procedures.
  • Design, create and develop databases to support organizational business processes.
  • Provide process improvement ideas and document all procedures.
  • Provide software development and support for the Facilities Automation Network (FAN) scheduling system using Visual Basic/Visual Studio, JavaScript, VBNet, C#, ASP.net and HTML.
  • Design, create and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Support the Laboratory s Task Request System (TRS) using Apache, PHP, JavaScript and JQuery.
  • Develop knowledge-sharing sites using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Provide end-user support, server administration, system administration and networking support.
  • Utilize various software, including Desktop Operating Systems (XP/Windows 7/10) and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Provide technical support services for Model View Controller (MVC) applications.

Skills Required:

  • 2 - 6 years of relevant experience in IT support, software development or network management.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Visual Basic, JavaScript, VBNet, C#, ASP.net, HTML, PHP and JQuery.
  • Experience with database management using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with web development tools and practices, including Section 508 compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • ship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.
  • Upon conditional offer of employment candidates will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.
  • Verification of past employment, verification of education and references are also required.

Skills Preferred:

  • Experience working at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.

Education:

  • HS Diploma/GED and 7- 12 years related experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field and 2-6 years related experience OR
  • Master's degree in an Information Technology field and 0-3 years related experience.
