Job Title: SAP Integrations Lead (Hybrid U.S.)

Location: U.S. Hybrid (must be willing to work onsite 30 days per quarter; flexible scheduling)
Position Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Team Structure: Lead offshore integration contractors (primarily India-based); no direct reports

Position Summary

We are seeking an ERP Integrations Lead to drive secure, compliant, and scalable integrations across SAP platforms. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring someone who can manage integration projects, mentor offshore team members, and contribute directly to development when needed.

The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, architects, AMS providers, and implementation partners to ensure smooth, high-quality ERP integrations across A2A and B2B scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver ERP integrations across SAP platforms, including SAP PO, CPI, BTP Integration Suite, EDI, and other on-prem/cloud applications.

  • Own release management for ERP integrations in collaboration with AMS and SI partners.

  • Provide technical guidance, effort estimates, and documentation for new integration solutions.

  • Support ongoing operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Partner with the ERP Platform Architect to define integration standards and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with global SAP architecture and participate in architecture review boards.

  • Maintain quality and compliance standards (e.g., GxP, SOX) for all changes and enhancements.

  • Mentor offshore contractors; provide leadership, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Technical Depth: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and legacy PI/PO integrations.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to drive integration projects and mentor team members.

  • Adaptability: Willing to contribute directly to development when needed.

  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear business language.

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in SAP integration development across A2A and B2B scenarios.

  • Tools & Technologies: Expertise in adapters (IDoc, JDBC, RFC, HTTP, SFTP, JMS, REST, SOAP, etc.), XML, ABAP Proxy, and cloud integrations with SAP modules such as Ariba, SuccessFactors, IBP, and S/4HANA.

  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP modules (MM, SD, WM, FI) and regulatory compliance (e.g., life sciences/pharma GxP).

Additional Details

  • Onsite Requirement: 30 days per quarter at HQ; scheduling is flexible (consecutive or broken up).

  • Engagement Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire (strong preference for candidates open to full-time conversion).
