Job Title: AI Specialist

Department: Emerging Technology

Reports To: Director Emerging Technology

100% Remote

Job Summary:

The AI Specialist will support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions using Microsoft technologies. This role focuses on applying AI, machine learning, and automation tools to improve business processes and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, emerging agentic technologies, and a strong interest in operationalizing agentic systems in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and deploying AI/ML models using Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Power Platform and other AI/ML/agentic tools.
  • Support the integration of Microsoft Copilot and agentic technologies into business workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to prepare data and define solution requirements.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand use cases and translate them into AI solutions, if needed.
  • Contribute to the development of low-code/no-code applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of MLOps pipelines for model deployment and monitoring.
  • Contribute to the implementation of responsible AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and compliance.
  • Document models, workflows, and processes to ensure maintainability and reproducibility.
  • Promote responsible AI practices, including fairness, explainability, and compliance with data governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 2 4 years of experience in data analytics, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), Databricks and Semantic Layer concepts.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI services such as Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI.
  • Proficiency in Python or R and experience with ML libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI, ML and agentic technologies in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and enterprise data platforms.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or ERP-related use cases.

Recommended Certifications (not required but a plus):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals or Azure AI Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
  • Databricks Certified Machine Learning Associate
