Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Manager to analyze IT financial conditions and develop recommendations for senior IT leadership.
What You'll Do
- Analyzing IT financial conditions and developing recommendations for senior IT leadership
- Providing financial statements such as monthly budgets and summary reports
- Reviewing and approving deliverables for contract and purchase order payments
- Developing financial metrics and conducting reviews to ensure compliance
- Driving standard accounting practices, reconciliations, and consistent reporting
- Ensuring compliance with Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, as well as internal policies
- Create user guides, process documentation, and self-service resources
- Implement automated feedback collection and analysis procedures
- Develop continuous improvement workflows and enhancement tracking systems
- Must complete daily reporting activities
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or another related field
- 5-7 years of financial management experience, including managing teams responsible for economic analysis, planning, cost analysis, and financial statements
- Experience with Florida Statewide Financial Management Systems
- Experience with Florida legislative budget processes
- Experience leading cross-functional implementation projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving organizational change
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
