JOB SUMMARY:
Business Operational Concepts (BOC) is currently seeking a seeking a Jr. Network Administrator to work with our federal client.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support on-site and remote Networking equipment in a Jr level role.
* Candidates will be expected to have and exhibit a basic understanding of basic layer 2 and layer 3 technologies.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time for field site work
* Strong customer relations
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Excellent organization and planning skills
* Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical problems
* Ability to professionally participate in a formal Change Management process
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required (Minimum) Qualifications Education, Certification, Experience, and Skills
* 1+ year(s) experience as a network administrator or helpdesk technician in an enterprise scale environment or a two-year technical degree.
* Strong customer relations
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong Analytical Skills
Preferred Qualifications Education, Certification, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
* Experience with VMware or comparable virtualization preferred, but not required
* Experience with Netflow tools and/or NMS tools (Solarwinds, PRTG, etc..) preferred, but not required
* Cisco and nexus experience preferred, but not required
