Position: SAP MM Functional Analyst

Term: 1 year+

Location: 100% remote

Job Description:
A federal program is seeking an experienced SAP Analyst (MM) to support enterprise-level modernization and optimization of financial management (FM), property systems (APSR), and human resource/workload management (HRM/WM). The initiative includes full ERP implementation and support for deployed modules.


The SAP Analyst will provide expert-level guidance on SAP requirements and design, specifically focusing on the Materials Management (MM) module. Responsibilities include system configuration, process design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of SAP experience
  • Deep expertise in SAP MM, including:
    • Configuration
    • Master data management
    • Procurement processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to serve as a technical expert across multiple assignments
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience/substitution allowed)
  • Must be eligible for DoD Secret clearance

Tools & Competencies:

  • Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of SAP MM-specific experience
  • Knowledge of federal ERP systems and DoD/Navy architecture
  • Experience in federal/government contracting environments
  • Understanding of change management principles
  • Full SDLC experience including analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support

Key Responsibilities (Job Duties):

  • Analyze, configure, and optimize the SAP MM module to meet evolving customer requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement and material processes
  • Implement system enhancements to improve functionality
  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules
  • Provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel
