Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Columbus, OH. The candidate will support and enhance Hogan Mainframe systems, focusing on IDS development and batch cycle management in banking environments.
Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain Mainframe applications using Hogan IDS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related tools in a banking environment.
- Support Hogan Deposits batch cycles in non-production regions and implement system enhancements as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring system stability and performance across CICS and DB2 environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with M&A and core banking requirements.
- Provide training and documentation for new team members on Hogan IDS systems and development practices.
- Participate in Agile development processes and utilize tools like Azure DevOps and ServiceNow for task tracking and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in Mainframe development, with a strong focus on Hogan IDS.
- Proven experience in Hogan Mainframe development with mandatory exposure to banking and M&A projects.
- Proficiency in JCL, COBOL, DB2, and tools like Changeman, Xpeditor, and ServiceNow within a core banking environment.
