Job Title:- SAP MDG MM Functional Lead
Location:- Summit, NJ Onsite
Duration:-3 months to hire
Mode of Interview:-Video
Work Schedule Details: Fully Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead material master standardization workshops with global business and IT stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial functions.
- Analyze regional MM structures and identify opportunities for global standardization.
- Align SAP MM configurations with global MDG design principles and target data models.
- Provide functional expertise on SAP MM objects (e.g., Material Types, Plant Data, MRP, Classification, Purchasing, Storage, and Valuation).
- Document workshop decisions, open issues, and follow-ups for cross-functional teams.
- Ensure alignment with the global data governance strategy and business process frameworks.
- Identify integration touchpoints with other SAP modules including SD, PP, QM, EWM, and FI.
- Collaborate with data quality and migration teams on profiling, harmonization, and cleansing activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of SAP MM experience including end-to-end implementation and template design.
- Strong background leading MM workshops across global business units.
- Deep understanding of SAP material master structures and interdependencies.
- Experience working in matrixed and regulated environments.
- Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with MDG tools and SAP best practices for master data governance preferred.
