Key Software Asset Management (SAM) Skill Sets
License Management & Compliance
- Software license tracking, allocation, and reconciliation
- Compliance audits and true-up preparation
- Vendor licensing models (Microsoft M365, Office 365, third-party software)
- Renewal management, entitlement validation, and usage optimization
Asset Lifecycle Management
- End-to-end software lifecycle (request approval deployment retirement)
- Onboarding/offboarding governance and access controls
- Decommissioning and reclaiming unused licenses
Data Analysis & Reporting
