The ideal candidate is a Cisco expert with deep technical knowledge across VXLAN, OTV, ACI, and cloud networking technologies, and a strong understanding of Zero Trust principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize enterprise networks, enhance security posture, and implement innovative connectivity strategies across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of complex Cisco enterprise networks.
- Conduct detailed network assessments and define strategic roadmaps for modernization and scalability.
- Design and implement solutions leveraging Cisco NX-OS, ACI, VXLAN, and OTV.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, with secure IPSec implementations.
- Drive the adoption of Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) aligned with CISA and NIST best practices.
- Integrate and manage cloud networking components across Azure and AWS platforms.
- Design and enhance wireless network solutions for enterprise environments.
- Document network topology, develop architecture blueprints, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise network design, architecture, and implementation.
- Expertise in Cisco networking technologies; certifications such as CCNP or CCIE preferred.
- Proven experience with VXLAN, OTV, and ACI-based architectures.
- Strong proficiency in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPSec.
- Experience with Zero Trust frameworks and network security best practices.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of wireless technologies and network performance optimization.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
