Job Title: Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer

Job description::
* Capability to drive innovative solutions including Self-healing infrastructure and integrating DevOps capabilities across public and distributed cloud ecosystems.
* Able to prepare and present accurate and timely information to senior leadership regarding technical capabilities and maturity, up to and including the McDonald’s Senior Leadership Team.
* Experience deploying Edge Computing Frameworks: Understanding of edge computing architectures, where data processing and analysis occur closer to the data source rather than in a central cloud, and how GDC enables edge processing.
* Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and containerized applications in the edge environment, including handling workloads across edge devices and the cloud.
* Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform networking services such as VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, and their configurations for both on-prem and cloud integration.
* Strong experience being responsible for Infrastructure Automation & Management including:
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in using tools like Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible to automate the deployment of infrastructure resources both on-premises and in the cloud.
* Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible to ensure proper configuration of both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
* CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, or GitLab to automate deployments and integrate infrastructure updates across both environments.
* Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for leading containerized applications and services across both on-prem and cloud environments.
* Solid understanding on standard processes handling multi-cluster environments and orchestrating workloads across GKE clusters and on-premises Kubernetes clusters, enabling consistent deployment and scaling of applications.
